I had pregustators (got to use the new word I learned this week!) for my second “F” dish, as some of us gals got together for drinks and dinner! I tried out a brie recipe made with a topping of dried figs, pistachios and honey!! This dish will be making frequent appearances for wine night!!

FIG FUN FACT: 1/2 cup of figs has as much calcium as a 1/2 cup of milk!
I also picked up some “F” wines for our feast
How can you pass up a wine called “Fancy Pants”?!? It was actually rather tasty!! Flipflop Pinot was less impressive, but will do in a pinch for a cheap wine!
Finally I did find a recipe for “healthy” fudge! Coconut oil, cocoa, peanut butter, honey and vanilla! Satisfyingly sweet and chocolaty without all the guilt!
FUDGE FUN FACT: It is believed that the name “fudge” came about when someone was actually making caramel and fudged it up!
