So maybe Banana Brownie doesn’t begin with an F but this blog is also to help share healthy recipes and here is a delicious snack, dessert or breakfast. If you like Banana bread, you will love these, with or without the glaze.
3-4 RIPE bananas
1 c whole wheat flour
1 c white flour
1 1/2 c Splenda
1/2 sticK margarine
1 c chopped pecans
Cream softened margarine with splenda In electric mixer. Add eggs, vanilla, flour. Once combined, add chopped pecans, mixing by hand. Pour into a 9×13 baking dish and bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
1 stick butter melted and browned in small saucepan over medium heat. Once browned, add 4 c powdered sugar, 3 T milk and 2t vanilla. Whisk together to form a thick glaze. Pour over brownies while still warm.
Brownies are sweet enough without the glaze… but the glaze puts them over the top
